Does Penn allow you to graduate in less that 4 years, because I could place out of a year's worth of classes (roughly)?

I know that Harvard has their Advanced Standing Program. Does Penn offer something similar?

Yeah, I had a few friends graduate early.

whyyyyyyyyy
I would want to spend as much time as I could at Penn

Why? If you are not subsidized by FA, $50,0000 is one good reason.

I only had one AP credit coming in and could have graduated in three years…decided to pick up a minor and do 3.5 years instead… so yes you can graduate early pretty easily

@@ttparent more like $60K when you take into account extra expenses!

Very doable. I don’t think Penn cares when you graduate - as long as you do so (well that’s not true, I’m pretty sure they like to get people out by 4 years, isn’t that a factor in the rankings?)

I would estimate that a few more people graduate in nine or ten semesters than in six or seven semesters. Penn doesn’t care when you graduate… it’s all your decision. I know people who stuck around an extra year because they transferred from Wharton to the College, others who stuck around to complete a second or third major, others who stuck around to complete a Master’s degree or other submatriculation program. On the other side, I know people who have decided to graduate early since they didn’t need the credits. All Penn cares about with regard to graduation is whether you have completed the requirements needed for the degree(s) and program(s) you want.

Absolutely, for instance, my advisor asked me if I wanted to graduate early or do a Master’s program. Everything’s up to you!
