<p>So, now that early decision results are out, what are some Penn references in pop-culture and fiction that you guys know about?</p>

<p>earlier this season on The Office during the episode in which Dwight was obsessed with Cornell in order to **** off Andy Bernard, he references their upcoming football game vs Penn</p>

<p>Just the Addams Family house, pretty much.</p>

<p>Tony Kornheiser mentioned on PTI he was going to Penn's commencement last year, for his son, I believe, if that counts.</p>

<p>I remember one episode in The Simpsons in which Flanders is looking for a wife, and one of the girl she talks to says something like "I went to Wharton and make six figures".</p>

Dave Eggers's suicidal childhood friend Tom from the novel A Heart Breaking Work of Staggering Genius attends Penn.

Penn is often mentioned in the NBC drama, American Dreams. Two of the main characters, Sam and Beth, attend the school. In the second and third seasons, several of the recreations took place at The Lair, a coffee house/student union facility on the University of Pennsylvania campus.
In an episode of the The Cosby Show titled "Off to the Races" Cliff Huxtable competes in the Penn Relays. Many portions of the episode were filmed at Franklin Field.
Several It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia episodes have been filmed at Penn.
In the television series Queer as Folk Ted Schmidt often makes reference to the fact that he is a graduate of the Wharton School.
In the 2003 film Mona Lisa Smile, one of the characters is scheduled to attend graduate school at Penn.
In the 2000 filmThe Skulls, one of the crew teams during the boat race at the beginning of the movie is from Penn.
In the 2004 Bollywood film Swades, Shahrukh Khan was a student at Penn.</p>
