Is there anyone in metro Atlanta area that has received an invitation for interview?

I live in Silicon Valley, submitted my ED Wharton app on Oct21st, and have still not gotten any contacts for an interview...
Should I be worried?
It's been like 3 weeks :/

Considering you live in Cali, where like 500 apps come from for ED, you probably have a slim chance of getting an interview, if one at all.

Hey guys. Sorry to bring back a dying thread but I had a few questions about the interview.

I am going to have my interview at a coffee shop..... should I get there ahead of time and wait for him. If so, when he gets there, how would we recognize each other? Its a nice coffee shop so many people are dressed really nice. Should I go a few minutes after the set time and so he can wait on me?? This feels stupid but I think it would be easier for us to find each other??? Maybe im wrong? so pretty much the questions is, HOW DO I FIND THIS GUY??

Does this interview count for anything?? I've heard that it is more for the applicant to learn more about penn than it is for penn to learn about the applicant. What do you guys think?

As to timing, be extremely punctual, as in go into the coffee shop 15-30 minutes before, buy your coffee and find a spot. It would help if you googled the person first and find their picture. Otherwise, just take the initiative and go up to person who looks like he/she is waiting for someone. If it's the wrong person, say sorry and try another. Most likely the interviewer will walk up to you. Sometimes the interviewer already has a interviewee. When their done, just walk up to him/her and introduce yourself.

The more you think about interviews, the more anxiety yo'll have, calm down, it's extremely informal. i've already been through 4 of them, each one was different, but they all look for the same things, confidence, intiative and a overall well rounded intersting person. I'm sure your one of those people, you'll do fine.

Hey how long are the interviews usually?

I just came back from mine. It was an hour long. But my other interviews (Princeton, Tufts and Georgetown) were all 20-40 minutes long. The Penn interview was the toughest yet =_=

hey! I have my interview tomorrow and we’re meeting at a coffee shop. This is probably a dumb question but should I offer to buy coffee? Should I let him buy me coffee if he offered or is that weird? :S
anxious, sorry.
