Penn Math 104 AP credit question

I'm an incoming freshman and I have received credit for Math 104 because of my AP calc BC score. Does this credit mean I don't have to take math 104? I'm planning to follow a premed track and one of the requisites is math104. Does getting credit for this course mean I have fulfilled this prerequisite without actually taking the course at Penn?

Medical schools will expect for you to have taken a college level calc course. The fact that Penn is willing to offer you credit for it is irrelevant for med school admissions committees. For kicks, you can call Penn’s or any other Med school website (or look at their admissions criteria) to verify

Just do Math 114 or 115. They environment is less competitive than Math 104 and learning more math is always useful, especially when you take chemistry and physics.
