is that true? thats what an officer told me… is it too late to send it now?

I have no APs. Darn having an IB school and not enough cash :/

wow, max- congrats on the 1000th post

no they don't require them... but if youre concerned, i doubt its too late. they prolly wont even consider them to tell u the truth.

this is a variation on the first question. ap tests taken in junior year... does it look bad if we don't put our scores even though our transcript shows that we took the class?

I got in graduating w/4 aps - but no scores will be sent to penn (junior year i got two 3's) and this year my two other ap classes dont get any credit at penn, not even a 5, which sucks, but hey. so i dont think they care all that much about scores, but they prob want to see that you took the class and did okay

you just write them on the app itself I'm pretty sure you dont' need to send real ones unless you are accepted and want to use them as credits. If you didn't write them on the thing I don't think its a big deal.

that sucks legendofmax, our school pays for all of our ap exams as long as we take an ib equivalent class

u sure? wow. someone emailed me and said penn require official ap scores.

I got accepted there and I didn't send scores so take that for what you will

which ap's did you take and what year did you take them?

Calc AB 5, Euro History 4, Lang and Comp 5 all junior year

i took calc bc 5 phy b 5 phy c 5 chem 5 wh 4.

my counselor did send a school report with ap grades on it but it snot directly from the college board..

Speaking of APs... I am taking college classes now in place of my HS classes because they offer only one AP (Calc. AB). I don't plan on taking APs or transferring credits because I have heard of people not doing well starting as an advanced freshmen. Anyways, I will have an A.S. in math by the time I graduate high school and want to apply as a freshmen to UPenn... is this going to help at all?

Oh yeah, I don't have to apply as a transfer because these credits count towards HS graduation.
