Penn State Essays

Hey CC!

So Penn state has two optional areas where 1) I can talk about my ECs, and 2) Talk about yourself/experiences.

For the first part (ECs), the application says this:

"Please use this space to list or discuss your activities other than academic work during the last several years (for example: school organizations, jobs, athletics, the arts, community service, religious groups, or other individual interests).

You may already have an activities resume or list prepared and should feel free to paste it into the space below. We suggest a limit of 500 words or fewer."

When they say "list" do they literally mean a list? I have an essay about Music as an EC from the University of California Essay. Would that suffice?

As always, thanks everyone!

I actually wrote my EC’s out in a paragraph and described some of them/why they were important to me. I would mention all my EC’s not just one. I liked it because not many colleges let you write about them anymore.
