Penn State Online Application

Is it just me, or is the submittal button on the penn state online application inactive!? Because I want to send my application this weekend, but it won't direct me to the appropriate page, and its very frustrating! AHH! Please can anyone help me out and let me knwo if they are having the same problem?

I submitted my app a few days ago and it worked...

Ahh this is soo frustrating...maybe I should open up another account! AHHH! I think i'll do that...but it's goin to be soo tedious filling everything in again! Thnx 4 that response! Did u apply to University Park?

It keeps saying that Part 2 of my app isnt complete...but it is! AHHH!

i already sent my app, and yes i applied to university park

Yes, I did it to UP... Make sure you click on everything... I had some problems but it was because I didn't click on the guidance counselor thing on the left side... Make sure everything on the left is checked off.

OOh yeaa..i didnt do that! Thnx sooo muchh!!

hey i just finished my app for psu online. what are you guys majoring in and what were your SAT scores..by the way, have any idea how long it takes for a response?

my SATs were 680v 610m, and i am undecided about my major. i think we are supposed to hear from psu by mid december

I sure hope they don't look at SAT's as a major factor. My high was a 1080, but my GPA is 3.9 (3.7 unweighted) and i'm in numerous honors/AP classes and have participated in lots of activities plys i voluntarily train people at a local gym..hopefully i can get in!

I applied online also, sat is 1470 and gpa 4.2 weighted.

GPA is 3.9 Weighted :(, but 31 ACTs
BioEngineering

Ah, I forgot. Applying for physics.

Did anyone here apply for the Summer 2005 admission?

I applied online for the fall admission, but checked off the summer admission just to improve my overall chances of getting accepted. As a pre-med/biology major, I sure hope they don't at my SAT's as a huge deciding factor. Considering I got a 1080 as a high, I hope I get accepted. My GPA is 3.8 and I have Honors/AP courses so I hope i'm good.

I am planning on majoring Biochem/Molecular Bio/Pre Med...My SAT score is 1230! And SAT II's 670, 510, 740! Retaking the 670, and 510 again!
My GPA is 3.9 UW..! I applied for the summer 2005 admission!! I really hope I get accepted..mys chool is gonna send my teacher recs by next week with my trnscripts! hehe! Yea we hear by Mid december! Can't wait! You guys all going for University Park?

Yeah, I'm going for university park..My friend got a 990 on his SAT's and got accepted into University Parks pre-med program. I think as long as you break 1000 on the SAT and have a 3.6-4.0 GPA, you'll be accepted. I'm also assuming that you have your fair share of activities as well.

Yea! I think my activities are pretty good..plus im attaching an extra essay with my application! I think the activities essay isnt enough!
Did your friend get accepted this year? And if so was he in-state or outta state? Im outta state and I was wondering if that would play a big part in the admission selection? AHh..i knwo Penn State say it wont..but im just curious!

He got accepted last year so he's a freshman this year. He lives in-state..I'm not quite sure how important location plays in their admissions process, but I will tell you that they don't accept teacher recs so I doubt they would accept an extra essay. I'm sure you'll be fine with just the criteria you have now

realllyyy? They don't accept Teacher Recs? Where does it say that on the website? Most public unis dont require Teacher apps...but im adding them anyways! Could that hurt my chances?
