Penn State Transfer GPA

I cannot find these figures anywhere. They are not listed on the schools web site, and any sites listing average accepted GPAs are for incoming freshman, not transfers. I can't even find individuals stating what sort of stats they transfered in with. Does anyone have an idea of what sort of GPA I would need to tranfer into the Hospitality Program at Penn State? Im sitting around a 3.0 at present with 28 credits.

Help a brother out.

i’m assuming anything above 3.5.

Is the hospitality program at University Park?

Anything above a 3.5? That’s barely below freshman requirements. Aren’t transfer requirements lower because of college coursework.

Yes it’s at University Park.

[Information for Transfer Students - Penn State Undergraduate Admissions](http://admissions.psu.edu/info/future/transfer/index.cfm)

Link here.

Doesn’t list any requirements though. I think this is a hopeless case.

Also, is it better for me that I’m from out of state? Don’t they try and diversify their student body.
