Penn state vs asu business finance major

Penn state altoona vs arizona state University business school.

I am admitted in both. I got admitted in penn for 2+2 program which means I will be starting at altoona and then will be at the University park after 2years.

So my question is which is better. Asu or penn state altoona 2+2 program.

I would be glad if some current students or graduates students can present their views.
It would be really helpful for me.
I have to decide quickly so pls let's make it quick.
Penn state is ranked 26 in finance and asu 77

So well is 2+2 program worth it?
Ps I m an international student.

Thanks in advance guys.
Thank u

Guys anyone… I m waiting for a reply…

I am going to Penn State University Park next Fall, so I don’t have any first-hand experience, but I can give you my thoughts.
The first difference is location. This may not be a factor for you, but it is something to consider.
The second difference is size. ASU has more undergraduate enrollment at their main campus than University Park, so if you are any bit nervous of going to a huge school, I think the 2+2 option would ease your transition into college. I know people who did the 2+2 program and liked it, but that doesn’t mean you will. Starting with a 2+2 program will give you a smaller, more personalized college experience for two years before transitioning to University Park.

I read somewhere that penn state a 100 percent placement while asu has somewhat 70 percent.

So mate in terms of quality of education, which is better the penn or the asu.

Plus I m an international student so I really don’t know much about the areas about the different states.

Asu is a big big university. I don’t have any problem going to a big university, what matters is the education and better future opportunities.

U said that u know some people who did the 2+2 program. So well if u can, can u ask them how actually their experience was at the starting 2 years at the different campus coz the last 2 years are spent amazingly. Its only abt the first 2 years.

Plus do u have any idea abt these
Wp Carey vs Smeal College.

Smeal is the better choice but I don’t know about Altoona. Are these your only two options meaning you didn’t get accepted to any other schools ? Arizona State has larger student body but PSU has bigger land area. Tuition:
ASU: 23k
PSU: 28k

Are you planning to work in the US or your home country ? My recommendation goes for PSU.

I would still think PSU is the way to go. Here’s why: I think your first two years would be better spent at a main campus like Tempe or University Park, but a degree from Smeal (PSU) will look better than one from Carey (ASU). Smeal consistently rates higher than ASU, recruiters are known to like PSU students, and PSU currently has a very high job placement rate. In addition, your diploma will still say Pennsylvania State University and will not be marked in any way because you started at a branch campus.

The decision is yours, but I would recommend PSU.

Yah I m planning to work in us for couple of years (just after my undergraduation) and then I will be returning back to india after my mba.

Tution fees doesn’t really matters but the only doubt I m having is - is altoona a good call for the first 2 years?
Or is ASU is bettet than the penn states 2+2 plan.

My first 2 years will be spent at altoona not the main campus however in asu I have the admission at the Tempe campus.

I got admitted at St john’s university queens, Ohio University, university of California riverside.

But I m taking only penn and asu in consideration. So I have to make a choice among too. I know penn is better than asu. The only confusion I have is - is the 2+2 plan I have ie start from altoona and finish at university park better and worthy than asu??
