Penn State vs Drexel

Hi! So I’m in between two colleges right now. I don’t know which of the two colleges to chose between: Drexel LeBow College of Business or Penn State(2+2 program)? I want to ask your opinion on which college is better to go to. Money is not an issue for me; both are affordable. Please do not say something like “Go where you will feel excited/motivated to learn and socially fit in…” I can manage to live in an urban or rural area. To be honest, I am kinda in it for the money(the one that will give me a good job and high salary).
I found the pros and cons for each school, but still undecided.
For Penn State I will be in the Harrisburg campus for two years and the next two years in Smeal Cox of Business at University Park. Pros-Nationally known and high ranked business school. There’s a huge alumni network. Cons-Rural area although University Park seems amazing. I heard doing the co-op at University Park is hard to do. I also got denied for the Capital College Honors Program.

For Drexel Lebow College of Business, I am also in the Pennoni Honors Program. Pros-You start taking business related courses starting freshman year vs in Penn State you would take general ed courses for two years as like any other school. There is amazing co-op programs. They help you out for your resumes and have a lot you can fill up on your resume. It is also in Philadelphia! They give you more experiences. Cons-Not known or ranked as high as Penn State

What I’m trying to say is that going to a more reputable school like Penn State is better or going to a school that gives you more experience like Drexel is better?
FYI: I am on the waitlist for Bentley University. If I get off the waitlist, I will go there as that is my dream school. But right now, I have to chose between those two college before May 1st deadline. If anybody knows, what are my chances to get off the waitlist? I can pay full ride, money is not an issue for me

Assuming Bentley doesn’t work out…how about both?

I assume that PS Harrisburg isn’t as appealing as Drexel this fall. If that’s the case, you could start at Drexel, and then see if you want to transfer to Penn State in a year or two.

Smeal doesn’t take junior transfers, so you’d have to transfer to a branch campus (say, sophomore year) and then AGAIN to University Park.

“No transfer admission to University Park. Applicants who meet eligibility requirements may apply to start at a Penn State Campus and transition to University Park on completion of entrance to major requirements.”

Do you know if Smeal is hard to do well in? What about the level of difficulty compared to Drexel’s Honors and Business Program? @EyeVeee @bodangles

I’d choose Drexel Honors over Penn State Harrisburg. The Co ops will offset the smaller Ali network and since you’re very preprofessional Drexel will have an atmosphere you’ll fit right in.
