Penn State VS. Miami (OH)

Hey all, posting this for one of my good friends because I don't know alot about these two schools. He was rejected from WashU ED II, and (surprisingly) rejected in-state to University of Florida. He now has to choose between Penn State and Miami of Ohio, ranked 48 and 66 by USNWR respectively. He will be going into engineering (not sure what kind but definitely not chemical, probably mechanical) so if that makes much of a difference talk about that if you would. Thanks!

Definitely Penn State.

Penn State is great in engineering.

Oh, more info has been discovered. Also accepted to FSU in-state (free pretty much). And he was accepted to a different PSU campus than University Park, something about Delaware County?... :-/

....

Go to FSU then.

Ok. Any Penn State campus other than University Park is crap. PSU beats Florida State any day.

Then suggest Miami - beautiful campus but better check out the engineering.

Go to FSU then,, A Branch Campus is not worth The Money

All non-University park Penn State schools aren't that good.

Oh wait...I just realized. You said he ONLY got into Delaware County. Do Miami in Oxford.

I would go to Miami in Oxford over FSU and a non university park penn state branch
