I'm a high school senior at the moment and am having a hard time deciding between Rutgers New Brunswick or Penn State Berks. I would like to major in something such as biology to move on to become a physician's assistant. If I go to Penn State I would live on campus and be at Berks for 2 years and switch to University Park for the last 2 years. If i go to Rutgers I would be living at home. Any opinions on where I should attend? Thanks!

I’m assuming your from NJ. I would pick Rutgers just because it would be a lot cheaper being in-state.

It’s not really worth the out-of-state tuition to go to another state university (unless they have a really good department you want to major in) imo. I’d say go with Rutgers for bio.

I’m in NJ and a lot of students from our high school choose either Penn State or Rutgers. Since they are close by why don’t you visit both? Apply to both and see how financial aid works out.

(I just assume everyone applies for financial aid because you never know what you might get in the way of assistance.)

I recently got accepted to Penn st Berks however they put me on their housing waiting list. What ways can i do to stay on campus apart from moving off campus. Do they offer a music scholarships at Berks as well?
