I'm a high school senior at the moment and am having a hard time deciding between Rutgers New Brunswick or Penn State Berks. I would like to major in something such as biology to move on to become a physician's assistant. If I go to Penn State I would live on campus and be at Berks for 2 years and switch to University Park for the last 2 years. If i go to Rutgers I would be living at home. Any opinions on where I should attend? Thanks!

Is the out of state tuition a problem for you?

Well I plan on getting student loans and I’m sure I could find a way to pay for it with my parents help

If attending would require you to take out loans the branch campus would not be worth it, especially if you are planning to continue on with a PA program. Are there 4 year programs to become a PA?

Rutgers would be the better bet. It’s much better than any of the Penn state satellite campuses. It will be cheaper since your living at home and instate tuition it seems like a good deal if you are willing to live at home and not on campus.
