Penn State Vs Virginia Tech vs Lehigh

I currently have been accepted into Penn State University Park, Virginia Tech, Drexel, University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Delaware and I am waiting to hear back from Lehigh University. My top 3 schools are Lehigh, Penn state, and Virginia Tech for their engineering programs and I am in-state for the PA schools. Which school would you recommend for me because I have to make a decision really soon but I have no clue which school to choose because they are all so great. Money is going to play a part in my final decision but at this point I'm looking for the best over school and disregarding the financial factor from the equation. If you could help choose the best school I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

If you are instate, you should give serious consideration to Penn State or Pitt. There is no reason to pay more for an education at your other options.

Will you pursue an advanced degree? There is always the option of completing that at a higher ranked school if that is really important to you.

Have you visited Penn State and Pitt? What did you think? Have you been accepted to their Honors Programs by any chance?

If money is a factor, what kind of net price are you looking at for each school, and how much debt would each school require?

FlyMeToTheMoon I have visited Penn State but not Pitt and I am hoping to at least get a masters degree. I didn’t apply to their Honors Program so ergo I was not accepted.

I really liked all of the schools that I have visited and did not include any that I was accepted to and didn’t like.

ucbalumnus I have not received all of the financial information back from these schools but they range from about 30,000 to 40,000 with Penn State and Pitt on the lower end and Virginia tech, Delaware in the middle and Drexel closer to 40,000, Lehigh will probably be around 40,000 too after financial aid.

Udel and Virginia Tech are not worth the OOS tuition if you have Pitt and Penn State as your in-state university. Go with Penn State for engineering.

Especially if it’s less expensive than the others, I’d go with Penn State. Locally they are an engineering powerhouse. Virginia Tech would be second on my list.

Thank you for your help after getting denied from Lehigh University I have chosen to attend Penn State
