Penn vs Brown (If accepted off waitlist, hopefully) vs UChicago vs JHU

Please constructive advice only. I have narrowed my choices down to these 4 schools, but am having a hard time deciding. I want to do pre-med( (though not sure about my major yet). What are the Pro's and Con's of each school?

Note: The Brown acceptance is completely hypothetical, I would have to enroll at another school before finding out the final decision, but just in case it comes to that point.

If you really want to get into a top med school, enough to make your college choices primarily on that basis: Brown, then Penn.

If that isn’t your major priority here, then what is?

Penn has the second best pre-med program among the ivies, so If I were to decided that way then I would choose Penn, but I’m not going to decide that way. I just want to get a general sense of the positives and negatives of each school.

It depends in part what you plan to do with your medical degree. A career in academic medicine might require a better pedigree academically in terms of undergraduate and medical schools. If you want to be a clinician, that is much less important. You would want a school where you would most likely get the highest GPA. For instance U Chicago is notoriously hard on pre-meds (search it on CC). “Best med School” doesn;t always mean best doctor!

Hopefully visits will help as I like all of these schools equally lol.
