Penn Vs. Dartmouth Vs. Brown Vs. others with financial aid

Wharton (11K) Vs Dartmouth (10K) Vs. WUSTL (Full-ride) Vs. Northwestern (less than 5K) Vs Brown (10K) Vs. Berkeley&UCLA 10K Vs. Notre Dame, Emory, Vanderbilt: Full-ride Vs JHU (No financial aid). What is the best option and why?

Check with the Penn FA office about matching or beating the others.

Wharton is easily the most prestigious one on that list, followed by Dartmouth, Brown, JHU or UCB

Wharton is the most prestigious, but I would choose WUSTL, cuz I know a ton of people at WUSTL and all of them love it there…and they’re really flexible in terms of classes, choosing majors and such…plus, the business school there isn’t bad either. And the full ride! Omg!!

Lucky! I wish I were in your place! Unfortunately, as an international, requesting financial aid = suicidal… And as expected, I got waitlisted/rejected at most of the places I applied for financial aid, and got accepted at the places I didn’t…:(

Whatever you do, make sure you don’t make the mistake of choosing WUSTL. The school has essentially cheated the system to artificially inflate its prestige and ranking (especially obvious in US News). The school is good for sure, but not nearly as good as its rank suggests. Wharton is the best option you have there, followed closely by Dartmouth (which also places grads in top positions of Wall St. caliber without a problem).

def get penn to match the others and then enroll there
