Hi! This is my first post on here but I’ve read threads throughout the process and people seem amazingly willing to help others so I’m going for it
I was lucky enough to be accepted into GT, Penn, and Dartmouth for the class of 2024. I know they are all fantastic schools and it’s a great problem to have, but I’m struggling with the decision. I never wanted the ultra-competitive/pre-professional atmosphere (Penn and Gtown), but I also know that Greek life (especially when I’m 22 years old lol) and major isolation (I live in a major city and it’s a big part of who I am) doesn’t quite fit with me. But I know those are the generalized stereotypes, and I would really love to hear from any current students about how true they are/whether it matters. I’d also love to hear from anybody who made a similar choice/is making it right now, and why!
This matters some so I’ll say I’m a girl who is going to pursue the humanities and arts, and financial aid isn’t a factor in my decision. I can work hard play hard but I’m not down to exist solely for the pursuit of either. Not giving a ton of personal info because I’m not looking to make this choice based on intended major or how my hair color will affect my sorority bids. I want to know about the general vibez, no matter how different you are from me.
Thank you!
