Penn vs. USC vs. Berkeley

Hello~
I got into Penn, USC, and Berkeley. and I was wondering which school is better in terms of biology, school reputation, etc. I want to major in premed. and I dont know which school would be best for me. I visited all the schools, and thought they were all good. Can someone tell me their characteristics in terms of biology as a major, school reputation, how the school would prepare me for a career, preparation for med school, etc.
Thanks. ^^

Wait... what am I missing?
How could you get into all these schools when Penn doesn't release note of regular acceptances until April? (or march?) Unless you got in ED... but then you would have to go...

Wondering the same thing. USC is sending out letters, Berkeley has likely letters, but Penn?

Actually, I'm not sure you're going to have any choices, since according to your previous posts, you got into Penn ED. You should have withdrawn all your other applications by now and if you haven't and Penn finds out, you are in trouble.

If you HAVE to go to Penn, consider yourself fortunate. For undergraduate premed it is better than Berkeley (grad school is another story) and a league above USC.

yea.. i got in Penn ED. and ill be going there for sure. i love Penn and wanted to get in really bad, but now that I got into USC, im kinda shaken at what other choices i could have had in choosing. and i did withdraw my application. i was away for the winter break so i think i kinda sent the email late... maybe they didnt get it? i dont know. never recieved a reply. usc and ucs were the only schools i applied to anyways.
and berkeley, i didnt officially get in. just likely letter.

also, this was just a theoretical thread.
so many attacks!
i wouldnt change Penn for another school or the world. i just wanted to know the viewpoints of others on the reputation of the premed program at all the schools and how they would compare. and i wanted to see the reactions of the students of each schools' forums and see their difference in perspective.
sorry for confusing you guys. @_@

You didn't really confuse anyone, you just lied to them.

haha. its more like asking: "Should I live in America, Iran, or Angola? Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of each of the three? Oh btw, I am going to stay in America."

Wouldn't asking have just been easier?

"You didn't really confuse anyone, you just lied to them."

No she didn't. She truthfully said she got into Penn and USC and getting a likely letter is bascially getting accepted for the most part. All she wants to know if how people would compare the three premed programs.
It would be better if someone would just answer her question. And if you can't answer her question, then you shouldn't be posting here (excluding me because I'm actually trying to help).

Anyways, I would put Penn above USC when it comes to premed if that helps. :)

"If you HAVE to go to Penn, consider yourself fortunate. For undergraduate premed it is better than Berkeley (grad school is another story) and a league above USC."

So medical school is better at Berkeley than at Penn? Most rankings says otherwise...

I think they meant Penn is better. (as in, "better THAN Berkeley")

I meant grad school in general. Not med school. In context of a premed thread, that was rather stoopid of me. I shall give myself a thousand lashings as penance.

i wonder how rankings could say otherwise, seeing as how berkeley doesn't have a med school...

Great answer.

Yup!
since we were talking about rankings

penn has a great med school if that helps.

you should call USC and tell them there is no way you can compete for their scholarship..

and that they can send it on over to me
