Penn- Will chance back!

Hey everyone,

I am receiving athletic support for early decision to Penn.

The last set of marks looked at by admissions were my 2.9 GPA (as of the end of last year. I have had a few C's) and a 35 on the ACT.

I may have just earned a C after taking my finals for this trimester.

Will this C create a fuss? I am quite concerned. This may disrupt my upward trend and raise some questions.

I will chance back!!

I doubt it, if you have gotten Cs in the past then I don’t think this will hurt you too much. What I mean is, if they were going to accept you with a 2.9, then this C won’t hurt at all. But I don’t know at all if you will actually get in with a 2.9 unless you are a really good athlete. The 35 ACT does help a lot, because it helps their numbers which is what they really care about. So, basically, I don’t think this will hurt you anymore, nor will it raise questions since you have already gotten some Cs.

i agree with verypsyched. it’s clear you’re intelligent (ACT) and you’re being recruited. you shouldn’t have any problems. good luck!

oh and chance me back, please : )

bump.

Anyone else have thoughts? If you link your thread, I will gladly chance you back!
