So I'm in the honors program but I don't think I'll be dorming at the honors dorm...what will I be missing by not living there? Will I be at a disadvantage or would I still get the same benefts as the people who live on campus?

As an honor’s student at Drexel University, you have the opportunity to live in the Honors dorm which is the brand new Millennium hall. Since this is purely for honors students there are a few benefits to living there:

1-You are surrounded by fellow members of the honors college who will become your friends, acquaintances, and future professional connections.
2-Residents in the honors dorm sometimes serve on the hall council which assists in organizing events for the race street living community (e.g. block parties, entertainment, etc…)
3-Many honors college specific events are held in Millennium hall (If you do not live there you can always get a friend to sign you in)

These benefits are not crucial to your success in the honors program at Drexel. I know of many honors college students who lived in Myers because of its engineering learning community and others who lived in Towers to be near their fellow athletes. But when there was an honors event going on they were not excluded, they just had to walk to the honors dorm.

There are many more benefits than these that are available to members of the honors college no matter where they live such as the Honors Lounge where you get free printing.

Best of luck in all of your future endeavors fellow Dragon,
