Pennsylvania or Allen?

I have a few questions. I filled out my Housing Contract a couple months ago, with PAR as my first option, ISR second, and FAR third. I somewhat rushed into these choices, Pennsylvania being the recommendation of an alum, and ISR and Florida simply because of my lack of knowledge of these Residence Halls. Since then I have visited campus and learned that PAR is pretty far from the Quad. This isn't a huge deal to me, but taking certain criteria into account (room size, food, proximity to buildings, etc.) if I can find another Hall that's closer and better, then I might be inclined to live there. That being said, Allen is extremely close to Campus Rec Center East, a building that I will probably be going to quite often; however, Allen Hall also houses the Unit One community, and I am not familiar with this. I've got until May 15 to change my Housing options if I choose to do so.

My questions are:
-Taking these things into account (and remembering the weather) is it worth living in PAR over a closer Hall?
-If not, how is Allen Hall compared to some of these other halls?
-Finally, what is the Unit One community? Does this require much of my time, or is it similar to living in any other Hall?

Thanks in advance.

I personally would have gone with ISR first, it is air conditioned, which you will seriously want for the first few months of school. PAR is very far from classes, unless you are a plant sciences/agricultural engineering/something in college of ACES major. FAR is just as far, but at least has air conditioning. Allen has a pretty decent location as well, but ISR is by far the best. I believe the unit 1 program allows you to take classes in Allen hall, which my friends who stay there liked. If you have the gym in mind, go to peabody drive residence halls, or gregory residence halls (peabody first), those are near the ARC, which is perhaps the most awesome gym most people have ever seen, it is rediculously better than Campus recreation center east (CRCE), and the peabody drive halls are directly accros the street from it.
