So I visited the other day and found people to be mostly very open to starting random conversations with complete strangers (read:me). Granted, my sample was all of like twenty minutes.
So the question:
How quirky/interesting are people at GT? What are your thoughts about the campus culture, etc?

Hi,

I go to Tech, and let me tell you that this place is what you make of it. You'll never get tired of the diverse atmosphere if you take the initiative to get to know more and more people.

But you have to realize that people here are intellectuals, and many are a little reserved or shy at first, but they're all good people, and very nice and cooperative. If you like an atmosphere where people are actually interested in what they're doing and believe in a good education, then it's a good balance of everything in one place. Let me know if you have any more questions.. I'd be happy to answer any of them!

I just transfered into tech... i find most of the people to be friendly and easy to talk to. Although, there will be a few people who are *******s or elitists. The biggest problem i find is that I am too busy with classes to really go out and do things to meet new people. Many of the engineering students are very busy and it makes it hard for them to go out and meet people... and thus making them reserved and shy.

the people are great. its all about what kind of ppl you want to meet b/c trust me, tech has it all
