I wish, Tapioka! What makes the whole thing stressful is that we have to decide by June 1st. So only a few more weeks, and we have to say good-bye to one school!

This is worse than when we were anxious for weeks waiting for the decisions to come out. xD

You seem to put more weight on the opinions of others than your own.

Keep in mind that you will seldom if ever see those “friends and classmates” after you graduate from high school. Instead, you will see your fellow UCLA students, few who will be telling you that you made a mistake.

^ Yes, you are right. The reason those comments get to me, though, is that I’m conflicted myself with this decision. I keep going back and forth in my mind between each school. I know I won’t make the wrong choice if I choose UCLA, but, then, I start thinking… should I choose Berkeley?

So what people are commenting resonates, or hits a nerve. The internal conflict is: so many people yearn to get into UC Berkeley. I got in. I’m turning it down.

It’s one of those things I shouldn’t be worrying about, but I am. In the end, I’ll be well off graduating from either school, both of which are prestigious, with great programs.
