<p>i applied on january 23rd (or 25th or something like that) and i recieved my acceptance today (february 26th). this just shows that you can still get in even if you applied really late!</p>
<p>Charme, you are a 4.0 student (top 1% of your class) and have a 1540 on your SAT. You are not a typical applicant.</p>
<p>The University got a swell of applications just before the deadline! They do every year. And yes, those students have a chance of getting in. Their chances may not be quite as favorable as people who apply earlier, but U-M sends out hundreds if not thousands of admit decisions after January. It's better to apply early, but no one should change their mind about applying just because it's close to February 1. I'm glad you applied, charmed one!</p>
