I applied to UCONN as my safety in early January, regular decision. I have not heard anything from them - all my other schools have sent letters saying "we have received your application" and sent emails telling me how to check my application status. Has anyone else heard from them? I can't even find anything on their website to check up on my app....

My son applied for Early Action and received a letter comfirming receipt of his application 2 weeks after submitting the application. There is no online status tracker like with some colleges. When we found ourselves becoming a little nervous not knowing if they had received everything, we logged onto their admissions chat and someone pulled his file and was kind enough to tell us everything had been received and his applicaiton was under review. We received our decision letter 5 weeks after sending the application.

I would say that these timeframes may be longer for regular decision due to the increased volume.

Good luck and I recommend the online admissions chat to ease your mind!

I don’t think UCONN is really a letter sending kind of school. I applied EA and never got a letter during the application process. I figured that CT MENTOR was supposed to post alerts when things were missing. Eventually, I got my decision, so if I were you don’t worry too much. Just email or use live chat if your really unsure.
