going back to the school spirit thing. I ll make sure I put a license plate border that say “UC Riverside Alumni” on my 500k Lambo when I am a billionaire real estate developer/Lawyer in space of course.

oh and how many classes did you guys pick? I was thinking of taking 4

Lol

I signed up four as well

Same, I chose four classes so I can get used to the college transition. lol. Winter Quarter’s gonna be hard for me. xD

im taking 3 cuz theres no english001c open
its going to be an easy quarter though

Orientation was alright, met some cool people. Took me an hour just to plan a schedule though haha.

Where is your energy?!?!?!

The " I cant believe I didn’t pass my placement test and its a crap load of bull that I wasted two years in AP eng" bug has hit me again. :(

I’m doin 4 classes too. (: lolol ohh man! Orientation in 4 hours. Because of transportation problems I have to be there by 8AM. LOLOL! -__-

I’m going to do that license plate thing too. rOFL.

do we need a catalog to register for classes?

^ They give you one to look at and use during Orientation.

But be careful, the catalog doesn’t show how much space is left in each class, and some classes from the online website didn’t show up on it

yeah. make use of classes.ucr.edu

Rawr!!!

so I don’t need to buy one prior to orientation? do they let you keep it?

You can’t keep it, they need em for the next orientation

The catalog is available in print every year for ~$5. But the entire catalog is also online here: [UC Riverside - General Catalog](<a href=“The Office of the Registrar | UC Riverside”>http://catalog.ucr.edu/)

But yes, I would also make use of the Schedule of Classes (SoC; [UC Riverside - Schedule of Classes](<a href=“Select a Term”>http://classes.ucr.edu/)) because they do show which professor is teaching a certain class for a particular quarter and how much space is left in the class. Also, the catalog acts as sort of a master list (that changes even during the year); just because the catalog lists a class doesn’t mean that it’s actually offered during all quarters or even at all during a year. If it’s not available this year, it might be offered 1-2 years later. Newly created classes may even be up on the SoC and not in the catalog.

yes, especially since they had to open like 10 new classes for chem001a in the past few weeks cuz it kept getting full O_o

who’s side? r side! It was fun

first you like run around.
Then you get into groups to do activities. You switch off to different group from time to time.

I had to do that dancing thing with a girl with SICK BO. I was depressed for 2 minutes.
