Pepperdine and investment banking

<p>Hello!
So I was wondering if anybody has every gotten into investment banking or private equity after going to Pepperdine University?
I really want to go to Pepperdine and they have a finance major so I just want to be sure I will be able to get into investment banking if I go to Pepperdine.

<p>PS yeah, yeah I know its going to be hard if I don't go to an ivy league but just stick to my question please. I am willing to work hard:)</p>

<p>Investment banking is tough to break into even at top schools. Pepperdine does have a business school, but it is not a target school and you will have to network,etc. </p>

<p>You might have an easier job majoring in accounting and leveraging your experience to an I-bank (especially if you can get a job at one of the “Big Four”) or getting a MBA after college.</p>
