My daughter visited both - ended up not applying to either, however. LMU was a larger school (I think double the undergrad population?) and had a wonderful atmosphere in a great location. The Pepperdine campus was gorgeous with a view to die for, however was tiny. We were also concerned about being a little “isolated” at Pepperdine because my daughter wouldn’t have a car. Pepperdine also doesn’t have an engineering program, which ultimately was a deal-breaker. We’ve also heard that the Church of Christ influence at Pepperdine is significant and important to the culture. Both very nice schools, depending upon what you’re looking for.
P.S. We also did a tour of the engineering school at LMU and were very impressed.
