What is a 91, 90, 89, and 88% average in terms of gpa?
It depends on a school’s grading scale. At my daughter’s HS, 90-91 would have been B+ (3.3) and 88-90 a B (3.0). At other schools the 90-91 could be an A- (3.5) and the 88-89 B+s. And at others, 90-91 could be As/4.0s and the 88-89, 3.0. Ask your guidance counselor.
Just provide your percentage grades. The college will convert it based on your HS profile.
Agree, you should not convert GPA. Report the GPA in the format your school provides. However if you want an idea, just for yourself, here is a conversion chart I found in a two second google search (I’m sure there are many more online). https://pages.collegeboard.org/how-to-convert-gpa-4.0-scale
Report it like it is on your report card.
My daughter went to one school 9-10 grades with 0-100 grading. Then she went to another and did an IB Diploma for 11-12 grades which is 0-7. Never knew what her 4.0 scale GPA was…colleges determine it. The only time there was an issue was for our State Flagship which auto-awards scholarships based on GPAs , but a quick email sorted that out. So send your transcript and the college will figure it out.
