~Percentiles and Curves~

For those of you who are frantic to know about the curves and percentiles, here you go.

<a href="http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/sat_subject_tests_percentile_ranks_2008.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/sat_subject_tests_percentile_ranks_2008.pdf</a></p>

Common questions I have seen:

Bio E vs. M (something I've been wanting to know myself)
I'd say the M curve is slightly better because 800 is the 98th percentile. So 1% of people are doing better on this one than E.

Math II
Yes, 800 is 90th percentile. Shocking. This probably means that colleges will expect near perfect scores on this test.

Physics
91th percentile is an 800, again, one needs to do well on this one.

Literature and Math I
I guess it's very difficult to get an 800. Literature is just hard for most people and Math I is so easy that it has like no curve.......

Curves from CB book: (that I can remember off the top of my head) for an 800:

Bio- 77/80
Chem- 82/85
Physics- something like 58/75 I remember it had the best curve

US history- 79/90
World history- 78/90

Languages- mostly raw score of -5.

Obviously I don't have all the info, but take a look at the percentiles and see for yourself.

World history is 78/95

Yeah that. Also, I come from Middle of Nowhere, WI as well. :P
