Percentiles on SAT II?

<p>Basically I got a 730 on Bio E last month..not the best, not the worst. but my percentile was 91% which is equivalent to a 760 in Bio M. So my question is that would colleges recognize the percentile? Probably not right? The 760 would have came out nicer, in my mind. But you guys know this stuff better than I do. On a side-note I'm aiming for the Top-tier Ucs (UCLA, UCB, UCSD). Is this score equivalent to a 760 in M? Am i an idiot for wanting to take it again? What if i do worse the 2nd time?</p>

<p>P.S I'm retaking this Saturday..hoping to do better</p>

<p>Do NOT retake the test. Percentiles matter little to colleges as they know they are extremely skewed (e.g. I received a 770 on Chemistry and was in the 88th percentile I believe).</p>

<p>No, that just means they value a high score less because more people can get them.</p>
