My son, HS class of 11, cast a wide net for small liberal arts schools across the country (12 total)…he was accepted into every one including Oberlin, Dickinson, Kenyon, plus many of the CTCL schools. He chose Beloit for a variety of reasons and has considered it the best decision of his young life…I have to agree. The quality of classes, teacher engagement, opportunities for study abroad plus deep friendships have helped him grow from an awkward teen to a well-spoken young man.

Next year is his last and although he is somewhat grieving leaving Beloit, he is ready to take the next step into graduate school (in his case). His older brother attended Cornell University and did not have as rich a college experience in terms of teacher-student relationships and pure love for his college (although no regrets…just different kids).

Beloit is a jewel. Consider it deeply.
