I have found the perfect college for me, but there is one serious problem, some of the buildings are severly haunted, including the 2 freshman dorms. I have a severe phobia of ghosts, is their anything I can do to get over this phobia?

I am sorry to hear that.
If you are being serious, it is a legitimate psychological disorder that must be treated by medical professionals. Otherwise, carry a ghost-repellent charm.

There is no reason to be scared of ghosts. Popular culture has negatively represented Ecto-Americans in the media and these negative stereotypes have now become commonly regarded as truths. The public paranoia has pushed ghosts out of mainstream society into filthy, trashy dwellings, like the college you speak of, and therefore there is some hostility between ghosts and the living that has helped fuel the "ghosts are evil" stereotype. But the highly-publicized incidents of ghost violence are out of the norm. You are statistically more likely to have your brain eaten out by an innocent-looking zombie or even a werewolf than a ghost. So the next time you see a ghost, treat him/her no differently than you would anyone else and you will see that they are just like you; if you do this, you will help erase the injustices of society, eliminate hostility between us, and make this a better and more peaceful world.

You’re Friend,
The Green Phantom

Just save up your money and call ghostbusters

well i dunno about you, but not going to a college b/c of a phobia simply doesn't seem like it. Defintely talk to ur doctor about it and see if you can't work something out before you go. You don't want to look back later on and think that you didn't go to a great college b/c of a phobia.

How can you try and diagnose the problem? All you know is from this description, not nearly enough to call it a disorder.... but anyway. I think that you should try and get over it. If it really is the perfect college then you can probably find a way to rationalize it to yourself that the haunting isn't a big deal.

Or maybe not, good luck tho

thats it. i have had it with these mother f...ing ghosts in these mother f...ing dorms.

If you accept the ghosts they won't bother you. Easier said than done, right?

Go to a different college if you can't handle paranormal activitity. It isn't a perfect college.

unless the college has high rates of death and accidents in those dorms, I would say the ghosts are probably friendly and you should try not to worry.
I would definitely try to do an overnight before going to the school first to make sure you can stay there.

this is what i say to myself about ghosts:

if that mother*er kills me just wait till afterlife. i will beat the * out of him. i will track him down and beat the living hell out of it.

just curious, what college is this

yes what college because haunted buildings is one of my criteria for the perfect college.

I laugh at this!

Grow some balls.

Just talk to them...or get that guy from 6th sense to talk to them for you.

They probably just want some mortal lovin'.

Well they're probably the ghosts of tragically murdered students. If you're nice to them, I'm sure they will help you with your homework and such. It's highly unlikely to catch a ghost STD or get impregnated by phantom, so go ahead and get some ghost booty.

Granted_business, the guy from 6th sense lives in my dorm.

Are you serious:) Hahaha, that's awesome!

You should have him read this thread. haha

I hear Casper the friendly Ghost went to your school. Great member of your track team!

don't go there.
