So, by perfect I mean all around good college. Mainly in academics, athletics, campus beauty, fun (nightlife, college town, etc), and location. This is only my second post so forgive me if it's in the wrong section :) thanks in advance!

Alot of this is pretty subjective (Someone might define good academics as only a top 25 school, others a top 100 school, or might prefer warmer or colder weather), but I would say USC and UCLA fit these requirements if you want to be in a huge city with warm weather. Most Big 10 schools would also fit these criteria, if you prefer colder weather.

This is one of the vaguest threads I have yet seen… “perfect college”??? There is no such thing, and any two posters will disagree on what criteria you should look at. One will trumpet the awesome college town at University of ______, another will say that the perfect college is one that you can easily afford and post a link to automatic/guaranteed/competitive scholarships, another will post a chart for PhD productivity.

For me, a good-fit college is a small, rigorous, conservative-friendly liberal arts college that I can afford without debt, is not highly urban, and has an atmosphere in which I feel comfortable but challenged. I couldn’t care less about nightlife or athletics, and geographic location is only a small factor. Your good-fit college might be a mid-sized university in a city on the East Coast or Midwest with a DI football team and a strong mechanical engineering program.

Be more specific, and posters can help you identify several colleges that may be good fits for you.
