Perfect SATs/legacy worth anything?

It got me in haha

From what I understand, schools need people with perfect/great scores to balance out all the athletes they want to let in. With perfect scores, you have to show that you are an absolute troll not to be accepted.

With legacy, a 4.0 and administrative connections on top of that, I think I can say with 99% certainty that I welcome you to the Princeton Class of 2013, and will see you next year.

Hate to break it to you, but some of the athletes have perfect/great scores.

^^^^true but one or two outliers sure can hurt a curve (learned it in STAT this year lol)

Hate to break it to you, but athletes on average have lower scores (which is what's relevant to the comment you were replying to - "all the atheletes they want to let in").
