I’m interested in playing in a music ensemble in college (I play the clarinet), but I don’t know whether Chapman allows non-music majors to play in their ensembles. Does anyone know? I can’t find answers on their website.

@MusicalMock there is a group called The Players Society that non theatre majors can participate in. There is also the improv club, as well as student films for non theatre majors. My understanding is that only theatre majors can audition for the mainstage and departmental shows.
Yes! My son is an Econ major and plays in the Jazz Band. I don’t know about the other ensembles. He contacted the professor via email during the summer, gave him his background, and they took it from there.
