<p>Quick question for those of us on break: are there groups at UCLA that allow regular students (I mean non-theater majors) to act in plays? It's been awhile since I've been in a play and would like to do it again. I've looked through the list of student groups already, but I was just wondering if any older students may know of them as well.</p>

<p>I think there are actually more student groups that allow non-theatre major students than groups that exclusively invite theatre majors to participate. I’m a biochemistry major, yet I’ve already performed in my first play at UCLA with Hooligan Theatre Company. There is also the well-known Act III Ensemble which, I believe, also allows non-theatre majors to participate.</p>
<p>There’s also a minor in theatre!</p>
