i read this on matt's blog. is this true? even for those of us who have been in the u.s. for a very, very long time?

green-card <--- still international?

From the MIT International Students undergrad admissions page:
In admissions, you are considered an international applicant if you are not a citizen or a permanent resident (Green Card holder) of the United States.
Hence if you have a Green Card, you are not considered international.

oh oops...i misread matt's blog then...sorry for any alert that this has raised.
and i really appreciate it, mootmom. =)
