I was wondering if incense is allowed to be burned in the room. Also, what about hookah/shisha in the room? What is UT's policy on things like these that emit smoke or may be fire hazards?

Incense are not allowed. Here’s a more thorough list:

(Insert picture with piece-by-piece breadown of a hookah and how to put one together)

Punishment poster made by a violator of the no hookahs rule. Pretty awesome poster.

haha maybe i shouldn’t even bring it. is there anywhere i’d be able to smoke it? (btw, we’re talking legal stuff)

i heard there’s a hookah bar down guadalupe going towards 6th street. i don’t know exactly where it is, although it’s supposed to be close to campus.

There’s a hookah bar on Guadalupe and about 27th st. I’m not sure what the name is, but it’s pretty cool. I don’t know if there’s another one near 6th.

no, kasbah on guad and 27th (near the 711) blows

go for pipes plus b/t 24th and 25th, its kinda dinky but cares way more about their customers than kasbah’s chintzy owner ever will

Yeah there is a hookah bar on the drag. And if you wanted I’m pretty sure you could smoke a hookah anywhere you can smoke cigarettes.
