<p>Whether or not you agree with the illegality of smoking, smoking in a dorm or on campus is just plain stupid. You’re just asking for some big time issues with the university if you get caught, and I’ve heard of people getting caught.</p>

<p>Don’t do it. You read stories on Campus Watch all the time about people getting caught smoking pot in Jester (there was even one recently about some people getting caught smoking in an outside courtyard in Jester).</p>
<p>Yeah. Whatever you do, don’t smoke on campus. That’s just asking for it. Go elsewhere and you should be in the clear. As for the ‘‘scene’’ - oh it’s there man. Just be careful.</p>
<p>I’m well aware of the risks involved of smoking on campus. Either way I plan on smoking on campus, I’ll probably just do it outside (Light a j and take a stroll)</p>
<p>Are you allowed to have/smoke hookahs on campus? I have one, but my current campus is real anal about them and if the RA’s saw one they have to report it to the police. I’m talking about using hookahs for strictly shisha usage (I would never degrade my hookah by putting other substances in it).</p>
<p>Your not allowed to smoke anything in your dorms. What kind of idiot are you? No bongs, no hookahs, nothing. If you get caught, your going to University Court and kicked out of campus. Especially when the DHFS comes every semester (randomly) to check that everything is up to fire code; if they see any illegal substance or fire device (hookah) they will tell University Court/UTPD and you will get suspended. Your in college now, grow up.</p>

<p>Obviously bongs are an issue (Seeing as they’re illegal), but I was asking about smoking hookahs outside (And if you want to get technical about it, a hookah is actually a vaporizer, no combustion is involved). I’ve never smoked anything besides shisha in my hookah, and I was just wondering if I can use my hookah outside.</p>
<p>^Well, your original question referred to “smoking in the dorms,” so I don’t think he’s an idiot. You could have worded the question, “I was just wondering if I can use my hoohak with legal substances outside the dorms.” That’s a very different question, isn’t it??</p>

<p>Hey hey, when the DFHS or whatever barges in randomly to do their checks, do they investigate our things or can they merely just look around? By that I mean, will they go through our things in our closets and so on?</p>
<p>No they don’t look through your closet or stuff. But if they see something lying in open view that shouldn’t be their, you might get in trouble. Sort of like a police search- if an officer sees an open container etc.</p>
