<p>I'm writing my common app essay on my Aunt, who inspires me to be a role model. I've been told its a great concept and that it has a lot of potential, but I am lacking very personal and unique examples. If someone could help me with this that would be great.</p>

<p>Whatever you do make sure you talk more about yourself than about your aunt. The last thing you want to do is fall in the trap of going off about how wonderful your aunt is…and then not show admissions who YOU are.</p>
<p>ryry123 I’ll pm you thanks, and iSeraphic that’s one of the things I’ve been cutting down on, it’s just been difficult to find out of the ordinary examples on how I’ve been a role model instead of the semi-generic ones I was using before(being a big brother and soccer team captain).</p>
