Personal Statement Dilemma

<p>I am putting the finishing touches on my personal statement and I was counting the words and it seems that i have approx 530 words. Should I try and shorten it or will the small amount of extra words be ok? </p>

<p>I had the same issue, cut it down to 499. Better to be safe.</p>

<p>Some of the web based candidate forms will automatically truncate down to the "allowed" length, I would take koho's advice and cut it down.</p>
