<p>^People with personalities have to actually look good enough to talk to people. A person that looks that bad won’t even be approached or approach anyone, because they are ashamed of themselves.</p>
<p>If choosing between two extremeties, I would prefer looks.</p>
<p>I mean, that’s assuming that I couldn’t have both. Looks are what I notice first and I wouldn’t date someone I wasn’t physically attracted too. But it’s not like I have to date the most attractive person in the world.</p>

<p>I’ll go with personality, I suppose, because that’s the one thing that absolutely must be there. But I can’t lie, looks are important too. I have turned girls down because I didn’t think they were very good looking (and to be fair, it’s probably happened to me too).</p>
<p>I mean let’s face it… you’re not going to love someone who you can’t stand looking at. Whereas you can push past some issues personality wise if you’re attracted to them.</p>

It’s shameless or it’s primal, whatever, etc. but I’m being honest with myself here.
I agree that it’d be easier to push past some personality issues if I found myself attracted to said person.
Thankfully I’ve never had that issue [boyfriend has great personality and is cute to top it off!] haha.

<p>Guys with good looks are difficult to talk to. In the sense of their inflated egos. All you can really do effectively is mock them. Which gets boring after a certain point. Unless they were modest, that would be pretty cute. Guys who are hot, and don’t really know it, or act like they don’t, are the cutest things ever.</p>
<p>But, yes, conversational ability is kind of important.</p>
