Personality types of prospective UChicago students

Just read the title .. I'm curious if there's anything standard in prospective students :)

I'm an INTJ.

You?

Extrovert! I have to talk...ALL the time. To everyone. About anything.

Maybe I don't belong at Chicago...

Are people really that nerdy and introverted?

Maybe I'll just be the loud-mouth on campus!

INTP!

And my friend who is a freshman there is an INTP too.

I'm a very shy ESTP.

ahh.. what do all these letters mean?

ESTJ (^Myers Briggs Personality Test)

Son has taken this before and is INTP. There seem to be a lot of those!

ISFJ. looks like i'm the only "F" so far..

I'm an INFP: Introverted Intuitive Feeling Perceiver
Most of you seem to be logical mathematical types. all you INFPs or similar let your self be known, lest i feel left out!

i like the following description I found in a blog:

The Idealist. We are the Joan of Arcs: we bring noble ideals and lofty aims with the fire of intense personal conviction to the mass of people.
Long live the INFP.
Famous few:
Homer
Virgil
Mary, mother of Jesus
St. John, the beloved disciple
St. Luke; physician, disciple, author
William Shakespeare, bard of Avon
Longfellow, poet
Albert Shweitzer, humanitarian(Nobel Laureate)

oh nevermind! haha vespa, we can stick together.. :P

i'm an INFJ...any other INFJ's out there?!

Ok, so I'm an INFP. I'm pretty sure the above list of supposed INFPs was randomly generated. I mean really now, we know close to nothing about Homer- can we really say whether he worked best close to deadlines or needed his personal space. Poor Homer's probably rolling in his grave (or urn) because he was really an extremely social chap.

I'm a INFJ!!

Somewhere inbetween an INTP and INFP

oops. sorry i just took the test and got INFP

Interesting... I'm ENTP

I test as an ESTP, but the description is completely inaccurate. I'm really not much of an extravert or an introvert (or rather I am very much both, and that's the problem).

I read an ESTP description and didn't think it described me well. One thing it said was: "The ESTP often has trouble in school, especially higher education which moves into realms where theory is more important...ESTPs make extremely good salespersons."

So I thought, maybe I'm really an ISTP, so I looked that up to. It said:
"They tend, sometimes with good reason, to be highly skeptical of its [education's] practical value, and often gravitate towards classes in industrial arts; part-time vocational/ technical programs can be useful to even the college-bound ISTP. In terms of careers, mechanics and any of the skilled trades are traditional choices."

The overall ISTP description is more accurate, but I guess it doesn't really matter. Have fun at UChi next year guys, because I'll flunk out of whatever college I go to and be a salesperson or a mechanic. ;)

lol don't feel bad, Ria. According to each and every INTJ description I am meant to be a scientist or be absolutely in love with math. I do like math, but science?! SCIENCE?! Unless this is some passion I have that I'm unaware of... I doubt I'll be going into the science field. Though I don't mine chemistry. But still. I'm not a science person. SOCIAL sciences, on the other hand...

I'm an INTJ too. I'm looking for an ESFJ female...

Im an FU!?
