i think im a mix entj and enfj .. one place siad the former and another the latter.

Whoa, this is unexpected. I just took the Myers-Briggs test again...and I'm an ISFP. That interests me. I'm usually the loud, talkative, impulsive type. Does anyone else have this personality type?

iNfp... yes
"the loud, talkative, impulsive type" yes... but the bottom line is that i need my alone time in order to function as such

Im a ENFP!!! I dont know thou, i could go either way on alot of htem

i love mbti haha, i mustve taken a million of these tests

anyway, ENTJ (the executive profile 8) )

INTP - seems like what I hear of the school.

ISTP...I think.

i am a INFP

I'm ESTJ male

This seemed the most appropriate place to put this description!

I'm ENFP!!!

I'm INTJ, but it was close between P and J.

ISFJ? cool

I'm an ISFJ!

Oddly enough I'm only the second ENTP on this thread. I thought most applicants would be extroverts. But it seems liek they want weird people, and if we're all taking the meyers-briggs tests, then I have to say we're all at least somewhat interesting. Anyways, I seem to have personlaity tratis from all the different combos of letters, and I think my personality type fluctuates on a daily basis.

I'm INTP, but I often test INTJ - the INTP description fits me to a T, though. It's interesting that this thread is here; I was reading a post and comments on a Chicago student's livejournal about this very topic a month or so ago. They said that most students tend to be INTJ or P. Obviously, many of the responses were other types, too, but those two types seemed to prevail.

hahaha newarker

anyway,
E N F J

Feeling types seek continuity through harmonious relationships and collective values. They excel at picking up on the tone of a situation and acting accordingly, adding warmth to a cool setting or turning sour into sweet. They will naturally seek to know what people do well, what they enjoy, where and how they work, and understand what they need in order to make the appropriate connections with other people. They weave and strengthen the collective fabric of social conventions and interactions.

Let an extraverted feeling type know that you are in need of an accountant and they will most likely give you several names. They seem to have an infinite number of acquaintances from all walks of life and are always on the lookout for people in need and those who can help out. Inclusiveness is important and they are particularly sensitive to those who are excluded.

Harmony comes from good, supportive relationships and upholding collective values. They are always focused on the other person, feeling a glow when those around them are happy, and troubled when something is amiss. They are natural cheerleaders, often expressing support, gratitude, and encouragement, and heaping praise onto those they appreciate. They take note of what is being done and what needs doing, offering their help and assistance wherever necessary.

As team players and project leaders, they have a gift for rallying their players, focusing on what is being done right and each member's strengths. They are loyal and they expect loyalty. They carry conversations well, finding common ground with their speaker. They tend to find the correct and gracious way to respond in any given situation, no matter how tense or uncomfortable it is.

It is well to note that extraverted feeling types will uphold a wide range of values, simply because shared values are what create harmony. Some will profess the importance of tough-minded logic, justice and scholarly debate because their environments have these shared values. They tend to adopt the collective values of those they love and 'belong to'.

I'm a ISTP, generally pragmatic and introverted

INTP here as well...interesting how many of us INTX's applied to U of C.

INTJ - have no idea what this is but took a survey on the internet to determine.

what this website said about INTJs :)

Ever in search of knowledge, this is the "Knowledge Seeking Personality" -- trusting in reason and hungering for achievement. They are usually pragmatic about the present, skeptical about the future, solipsistic about the past, and their preferred time and place are the interval and the intersection.

sounds like we all belong at Chicago
