pertaining to highschool gpa

I've read different things about GPA and they say schools count A's and A-'s, B+'s B"s B-'s, etc... differently

theoretically, lets say you got this in your 6 classes
90
90
90
90
90
90

would your highschool gpa be 3.7 or 4.0? would colleges for admissions purposes count your gpa as 3.7 or 4.0?

wait…isnt a 90 average a 3.5-3.6?

it would be a 3.5

is that just the way the college interprets it?

because at my highschool they use this scale:
60-69 F
70-74 D
75-79 C
80-89 B
90-100 A

my school: 4.0

yeah at my school, if it was weighted, it would be 7.5 or an 11. NWGPA would be 4.0

At our high school it would be a 90. Or an A-. Our high school does not convert to a 4.0 scale, nor do many public high schools in NYS. That is left to the colleges.

At my school, a 90 is a B. (We don’t use +'s or -'s either)

At the college I take dual enrollment at, most classes have a 90-100 A scale. But some use 90-93 as A-. All depends on the class… but if it’s a 90-100 A scale for all those classes, your GPA would be 4.0

It would be a 4.0 at my school.

it would be a 4.0 at my school if none of them were AP classes

UW would be 4, and W would be more if you took honors/AP. At my old school, only AP classes boosted your GPA.

that would be a 3.3 at my school… our grading scale sucks
