I've seen Peterson's books - all of them are so much damn easier than the actual test and none of them have ever been recommended as good test prep? Are there exceptions to the rule Peterson's = crappy?

I found their AP World book good and used to it to get a 5.

well..their PSAT was pretty good i hear

I looked at that Peterson's book - it sucked. Badly. Questions were incredibly easy questions a 5th grader could answer.

I heard that their AP Calc. book wasn't that bad.

Peterson's AP chemistry is excellent... because they bought Arco's old book and released it for 05 under petersons' name. The AP success series sucks.

Peterson has really nice array of comprehensive AP books that are both accurate and helpful. In fact, when I took AP Government, that is the only book my teacher recommended when taking the AP test. The questions were much harder than actual ones and detailed, but it definitely helped you in the long run.
