So I know if u go to murphy u can petition to take extra units (above the 19 unit limit). Is there a way to do this online? I'm at home now not on campus ... so how do I sign up for another class (giving me 21 units total)

Thanks!

I need 21 units too. Before break, I went to Murphy to ask and they said they're only granting 20 units, and they'll start granting 21 units and above on Monday after we start school when you fill out a unit overload form.

I sent the counselors an email and they added extra units for me online. I did this about a week ago.

^ Which email did you send it to and how many units?

Thanks

Well, I'm in the honors program so I sent it to collegehonors@ucla.edu. I'm not sure if that's the exact email address, but it was something like that. I petitioned for 21 units.

actually if you walk into the college honors office in murphy hall, just tell the front desk guy that you need more units and he'll automatically give you 23 units, no questions asked. it literally takes 10 seconds. no appointments needed.

Sucks for those of us who aren't in honors :(

its the same process if ur in AAP

AAP gets you the same benefits as honors...w/o the hassles...too bad you got to be invited to join.
