I am guessing you are referring to the question on Penn’s Financial Supplement form where they ask you what you think you can afford realistically for college based on your financial situation. This is just that and you don’t have to “prove” anything.
We called last year about the question- they told us to answer with what the amount we think we can pay based on our finances is.
