Pharmaceutical Sciences vs. Biochemistry/Cell Biology

Hello!

I am planning to be a pharmacist in the future and was wondering which major is more beneficial with a wide variety of options in the long run. I know pharm science seems to be an obvious choice since I am planning to become a pharmacist, but I just wanted some opinions from you guys. I am pretty interested in what biochem/cell biology has for its classes too (genetics and such)

Thanks in advance!

If you’re planning to be a pharmacist, then go to a school of pharmacy and major in that subject. If you’re planning to do research in pharmacology or pharmaceutical sciences, you probably can enter a graduate program in those areas with a major either in pharmacy or biochemistry.
